Whether I’m excelling in exams, perfecting my tennis serve, or planning family hikes, I tackle each challenge with unwavering determination. My friends often joke about my “overachiever gene,” but I truly believe in putting my all into everything I do. Even if I have a busy schedule, I make it a point to maintain humor and positivity. Moving from Wisconsin to North Carolina during my sophomore year was a significant change, but I embraced it as an opportunity for growth, quickly adapting to my new environment. As I look to the future, I’m excited and ready to make a positive impact on the world around me.
The ability to stay focused and determined, even in the face of challenges, enhances my understanding and retention of information.
I prioritize helping others by actively seeking volunteer opportunities and supporting my community. I believe that making a positive impact is essential, whether through organized events or simple acts of kindness.
Volunteering at the animal shelter allows me to walk dogs and play with cats, providing them with exercise and companionship while deepening my commitment to their well-being.
Even before experiencing the full impact of Hurricane Helene, I’ve always prioritized helping others. That’s why I chose to volunteer with Mercy Chefs, a nonprofit dedicated to providing meals to those affected by disasters.
As a volunteer hike leader, I guide groups through beautiful trails, ensuring everyone enjoys a safe and memorable outdoor experience. I take pride in sharing my passion for nature, promoting teamwork, and fostering a love for the great outdoors among participants.

During my high school career, I found it helpful to create formula sheets to reference before tests. In doing so, I was able to help others who asked if I could share my notes. Teachers and students loved them! Now whenever I have free time I create formula sheets for each of my classes.
I am not only grades and extracurriculars. I strive to be the best person I can.
